Abstract
Examines the critical role of education
in advancing economic and social development, analyzed through the lenses of
Functionalist, Marxist, and Interpretive theoretical frameworks. Emphasizing
education, a universal human right and a catalyst for societal progress, it
draws on from diverse national settings, including India, Ghana, Japan, the
USA, and Ethiopia. By conducting an in-depth literature review and thorough
analysis, the review provides valuable perspectives on the intricate
relationship between education, leadership, and societal progress, offering
actionable recommendations for policymakers and educators dedicated to creating
a fairer and more prosperous future.
